Dear Mr. Johnson:
As requested in the subject letter dated July 10,
- 1990, RG&E recommits to performing enhanced primary-to-secondary leak rate monitoring in accordance with item C.1 of NRC Bulletin 88-02 at the R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant.
The enhanced monitoring is viewed as a temporary measure that will be performed until completion of the Westinghouse reassessment of the Ginna specific analyses re-lated to NRC Bulletin 88-02 and NRC staff review of the reassess-ment.
The enhanced monitoring program that willbe utilized is the program described in RGGE's initial response to NRC Bulletin 88-02 as provided in our letter to the NRC dated March 25, 1988.
