Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 550.75, Rochester Gas and Electric (RGEE) submits the following report on the status of decommissioning funding for R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, for which RG&E is the sole owner. The data presented herein, current as of December 31, 1998, is that required by 10 C.F.R. 550.75 (f)(1), and reflects the best information available to RGRE at this time. Unless otherwise indicated, the amounts are in 1998 dollars.

GINNA NUCLEAR POWER PLANT MARCH 29, 1999 The amount of decommissioning funds anticipated to be required, in accordance with the NRC minimum certification funding amount formula (10 C.F.R. 5550.75(b) and (c)) for decommissioning.

  • Amount includes funding for spent fuel storage after plant shutdown, approximately 32% of total funding.
