InresponsetoInspectionandEnforcementBulletin79-13item5con-cerningscheduleforfeedwaterpipetosteamgeneratornozzleinspection,proceduresforresponsetoafeedwaterlinebreakaccident,anddetectionoffeedwaterleaks,thefollowinginformationisprovided.a.Thefeedwaternozzleinspectionandevaluationhasbeencom-pletedandtheexpandedprogramasdirectedinthebulletinispresentlyinprogress.b.Areviewofplantemergencyprocedureshasbeencompleted.Emergencyproceduresareineffectforlossoffeedwaterwhichadequately'overafeedwaterlinebreakaccidentupstreamofthefeedwatercheckvalve.Afeedwaterlinebreakaccidentdownstreamofthefeedwatercheckvalvewouldproduceindica-tionsandresponsessimilartoasteamlinebreakaccident,whichisalsoadequatelycovered.c.Detectionofleakageincontainmentincludesseveralsystems'hichareinadditiontomeasuresbasedonradioactivityorreactorcoolantinventoryandwouldindicatefeedwaterleaks.Oneofthese,thecondensatemeasuringsystem,collectsmoisturecondensedfromthecontainment'tmospherebythecontainmentfancoolerunits.Thissystemprovidesadepend-ableandaccuratemeansofdeterminingleakage,withtheabilitytodetectleakageaslowas0.5gpm.ThecontainmenthumiditydetectorsystemprovidesbackuptothissystemwithyoP80V0 0
