This is the February 1980 discovery report of Houston Lighting & Power Company.

During the month of February, counsel for Houston 2 deposed the following individuals:

Wolfe, Esquire March 14, 1980 Page 2 Houston's counsel also attended many of the depositions noticed by the Department of Justica ("Depar tme nt") , the NRC Staff (" Staff"), and the Public Utilities Board of Brownsville, Texas (" PUB") .

On February 1, 1980 Houston served its Fourth Set of Interrogatories and First Set of Requests for Production of Documents on the NRC Staff, and requested issuance of a subpoena duces tecum to Transcomm, Inc. Pursuant to agreement of counsel, the Staff filed responses thereto on February 25.

Also on February 1, Houston received supplemental responses to its First, Second, and Third Sets of Inter-rogatories and Requests for Production from the Department cf Justice. On February 12, Houston filed a motion to compel with respect to the responses to the First Set.

Issues raised therein were resolved informally by Houston and the Department, and Houston's motion was withdrawn.

On February 6, Houston served its Second Set of Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents to Central & South West Corporation, et al. (C&SW). On February 25 Houston served its Third Set of Requests for Production of Documents on C&SW.

On February 11, Houston received the updated re-sponse of the NRC Staff to Houston's First Set of Inter-rogatories and Requests for Production of Documents.

Issues relating thereto are under discussion between the parties at this time.

On February 19, Houston received answers relating to West Texas Utilities from its First Set of Interrogatories and Requests for Production of Documents addressed to all C&SW subsidiaries.

On February 27, Houston supplemented its interroga-tory answers to the Department's First set of Interroga-tories, the Staff's Initial Interrogatories, and CP&L's First and Second Set of Interrogatories.
