ThesectiononPostulated Accidents Involving Radioactive Materials enumerates "Severalofthemoresignificant findings" oftheLewisReport(p.6-3).Thethreefindingssummarized excludethefinalfindingofthatreport:Therehavebeeninstances inwhichNASH-1400 hasbeenmisusedasavehicletojudgetheacceptability ofreactorrisks.Inothercasesitmayhavebeenusedprematurely asanestimateoftheabsoluteriskofreactoraccidents withoutfullreali-zationofthewidebandofuncertainties involved.

Suchuseshouldbediscouraged.

Werecommend thatAppendixBdiscussthepossibility ofusingplantings recommended bythePennsylvania GaaeCommission for.allforestedareasclearedduringtransmission lineconstruction.
