Final Exercise Report for the April 29, 1987, Exercise of Offsite Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plans for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station Attached are two copies of the final exercise report for the April 29, 1987, exercise of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans site-specific to the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station. This final exercise report was prepared by the Region III office staff of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
There were no deficiencies identified during this exercise. The outstand-ing deficiencies identified at the last exercise concerning non-participa-tion of Fishing Creek Township and the miscommunications at the Columbia priatee Fmergency Operations Center were corrected. A schedule of corrective County actions is included in the exercise report which addresses the areas requiring corrective actions.
Based on the results of the exercise, the offsite radiological emergency preparedness remains adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appro-measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of an accident at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station.
