The animal was alive but lethargic when it was picked up by MMSC Staff, The turtlewas taken to MMSC for rehab. Once at MMSC the turtle was slightly more active and was able toswim easily on its own. It had several scars on its head, flippers and carapace along with numerousbarnacles and some algae growth. There were no noticable recent wounds.The animal was found dead in its pen early the following morning. Necropsy report to follow.
