==SUMMARY==

APRIL 1994 URIL1 Unit 1 generated 119,390 megawatthours (MWh) (gross) electrical power during April with a capacity factor of 14.4 percent. Unit 1 was in Mode 3 at the beginning of the month. The reactor was taken critical on April 13 at 1123 EDT. The Unit 1 Cycle 6 Refueling Outage ended on April 20 at 0338 EDT when the generator was synchronized to the grid. On April 27 at 1027 EDT, with reactor power at approximately 74 percent, a power decrease was initiated to allow the IB main feed pump to be removed from service for repairs. Unit I was operating at approximately 48 percent reactor power at the end of April.
UNIT 2 Unit 2 generated 842,987 megawatthours (MWh) (gross) electrical power during April with a capacity factor of 102.3 percent. Unit 2 operated at near 100 percent reactor power during the month of April.
