Unit 1 was removed from service on September 9, 1998, at 0100 Eastern Daylight time (EDT) for i
the Cycle 9 refueling outage.
Core offload began on September 16 at 0021 EDT and core reload was completed on September 25 at 0950 EDT.
Unit 1 remained in Mode 5 at the end of September.
UNIT 2 Unit 2 generated 827,933 MWh (gross) electrical power j
during September with a capacity factor of 99.5 percent.
There were no outages or power reductions of greater than l
20 percent in the average daily power level during l
September.
