SUMMARY

MAY 1996 l _ UNIT 1 -

Unit I generated 870,864 megawatthours (MWh) (gross) electrical power during May with a capacity factor of 101.7 percent. There were no outages or power reductions ofgreater than 20 percent to report during May. Unit I was operating at 100 percent reactor power at the end of May.

UNIT 2 i

Unit 2 was removed from service on April 20,1996, at 0112 Eastern daylight time (EDT) for the Cycle 7 refueling outage. Unit 2 core reload was completed on May 19 at 0954 EDT. Unit 2 entered Mode 5 on May 23 at 2359 EDT and remained in Mode 5 through the end of May.
