VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ACCIDENT MONITORING INSTRUMENTATION By letter dated March 18,1994, Georgia Power Company (GPC) proposed an amendment to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Unit 1 and Unit 2 Technical Specifications related to the accident monitoring instrumentation. By letter dated February " 8,1995, GPC responded to a request for additional information (RFAI) from the NRC staff re[l.trding the subject proposed amendment. During the development of our response to the RFAI, GPC discovered that four of the instrument channels listed in TS table 3.3-8 for steam generator water level narrow range should not be designated as accident monitcring instrumentation pursuant to Regulatory Guide 1.97, Revision 2. These instrument channels are indicated by loop numbers 551, 552, 553, and 554 in VEGP TS table 3.3-8. Therefore, these loop numbers should be deleted from table 3.3-8.

These instrument channels are indicated by loop numbers 551, 552, 553, and 554 in VEGP TS table 3.3-8. Therefore, these loop numbers should be deleted from table 3.3-8.
