Dear Mr. Crutchfield:

In accordance with a letter, dated August 8, 1979 from William Gammill to All Power Reactor Licensees and with our report dated December 6, 1979, "Adequacy of Station Electric Distribution Systems Voltages", RGGE has completed a field testing program. The purpose of this test was to verify the results of the load flow analysis contained in our report. A comparison of field measurements to the calculated values resulted in a satisfactory correlation. This further confirms the adequacy of the undervoltage protection system and the Technical Specification limits which were approved in Amendment. No. 38 which was issued on March 26, 1981.

The information contained in this report resolves all open x

issues on this subject.
