River llend Station (RBS) has reviewed the final rule and the applicable guidance, NUREG 1394, Revision I, "limergency Response Data System (liRDS)

Iraplementation". The RilS IIRDS system will be fully tested and operational by Februery 199?. Ilowever, the following milestones have been scheduled to imple nent the ERDS system.

o Transmit the RIIS ERDS Implementation Plan to the NRC (October _e, 1991) o Devei op Communication Software (March 30,19"?)

o liRDS System Operational /On-Lirie (July 15,1992)

AD3flNLSTRATIVE INIPl.ENfENTATION REOUlBES1ENTS A complete review of documentation will be completed, following the finalization of the ERDS system design and placement at River Bend Station. Station documentation will be amended to include compliance with the requirements of NUREG 1394, Rev.1, Section 3.6 (Administrative Implementation Requirements) and 3.7 Periodic Testing prior to February,1993.

No revision to the US AR/ Emergency Plan is required, however, RBS anticipates changes to the following procedures:

3. EIP-2-005 General Emergency (for System Activation)
