The information is as initially received without verification or evaluation, and is basically all that is known by the Region I staff on this date.

BOMB THREAT At 8:26 a.m. on September 26, 1986, the Unit 2 switchboard operator received a telephone call from a young male who stated that a bomb in the Reactor Building will go off today. The caller did not state which Unit was involved, but only the Unit 2 Reactor Building is accessible. By 9:00 a.m. the licensee had evacuated the Reactor Building and began a search using Unit I and 2 security personnel. If no bomb is found, the licensee plans to resume work in the Reactor Building. Two similar bombs thraats were received on September 5 and 11, 1986 (PNO-I-86-70 and 71). The Resident Inspector is on site.

Tha Information Assessment Team and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been-notified. This PN0 is issued for information and is current as of 9:30 a.m.,

September 26, 1986. No additional action is planned by the NRC at this time.
