The licensee and the IBEW Unior. Conriittee reached a \\entative acreement on a new contract on October 8,1979. The Union Comitte has recimended acceptance of the new contract to the rank and file.

The licensee believes the new contitet will be ratified thereby avoiding the threat of a strike.
