BOMB THREAT On September 11, 1986 at approximately 7:48 a.m. the Unit 2 switchboard operator received a telephone call stating that a bomb is on site and set to go off between 11 and 12 noon today. The caller did not indicate which Unit or plant area was involved.
In a second phone call at 8:44 a.m., the caller stated that the bomb was in the reactor building. Only the Unit 2 reactor buildin_g is accessible; all non-essential personnel are being released from the Unit 2 site and the reactor building is being searched.
The Senior Resident Inspector is on site. A similar bomb threat was received on September 5, 1986 (see PNO-I-86-70).
The Information Assessment Team and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been noti-fied. This PN0 is issued for information only and is current as of 9:30 a.m.,
September 11, 1986. No additional action is planned by the NRC at this time.
