nocab-question1: The State of New Jersey has setup Independent Oversight Board on 10/3/2019. It is not known to what extent the public's voice will be heard. A local CAB has not yet been established. The Lacey community

is patiently waiting.

nocab-question2: At Oyster Creek, Holtec, the decommissioning owner, does not want one and indicated one will not be established. The Lacey community wants, needs and deserves transparency during the decommissioning process. Our property values DEPEND on it.

nocab-question3: Holtec, the decommissioning owner, holds local information forums in Lacey Township. Based on the first one held 9/23/2019, Holtec did not answer questions correctly, gave incorrect answers to questions, and several questions that were asked could not be answered. This was brought to light by several news reporters and those articles were emailed 10/4 to Bruce Watson at Docket ID NRC-2019-0073-0001 NEIMA Section 108 Public Meeting Near Oyster Creek.

nocab-question4: There are no advantages of not having a CAB. Again, several news reporters articles emailed 10/4 to Bruce Watson, NRC, detailed them.

This is a disservice to the residents and community of Lacey Township.

nocab-question5: The disadvantages are MANY!

No voice of the public whose tax dollars contributed to the trust fund. The disadvantage is the public interest will not be heard.

There will be no public communication and education. The local residents of Lacey Township deserve proper communication and answers to questions. At the 10/3 NEIMA Section 108 Public Meeting Near Oyster Creek, a lot of good comments were made which should be a great help as to why there should be local CABs. Again, several news reporters articles emailed 10/4 to Bruce Watson, NRC, detailed them. Please do all in your power to insure the people of Lacey are informed at all times.
