Acceptance Review: Exemption Request from 10 CFR Part 73 Appendix B requirements for Oyster Creek Date: Monday, May 11, 2020 6:40:00 PM

Andrea, The staff reviewed the Oyster Creek request for temporary exemption from 10 CFR Part 73, Appendix B, during COVID-19 pandemic dated May 7, 2020 and have determined that the licensee has provided the necessary information for a review of their submittal. Given the lesser scope and depth of the acceptance review as compared to the detailed technical review, there may be instances in which issues that impact the NRC staffs ability to complete the detailed technical review are identified despite completion of an adequate acceptance review. If additional information is needed, you will be advised by separate correspondence.

The NRC staff will endeavor to complete this review before May 31, 2020. If there are emergent complexities or challenges in our review that would cause changes to the initial forecasted completion date, it will be communicated during the routine interactions.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
