On March la, 1985, Ms. Billie Garde, Citizens Clinic, Government Acccunt-ardlity Pro,iett (GAP) telephonically contacted re concernine the stattM of an onaning OlA investigation at Cor.anche Peat Steen Electric Station. A+ the-conclusion of this discussion, I questioned Ms. Garde about her March 4, 1985, decision not to be interviewed by DIA concerning 13 general allegations made by GAP of NRC misconduct at Waterford 111. Ms. Garde reaffirmed her unwillingness to be interviewed or to provide specific information in elaboration of the general allegations due to the potential compromise of the identities of her confidential sources. Ms. Garde comitted to provide the Director, 01 A, with a letter documenting her decision not be, interviewed by OIA.
