CPRRG MEETING, FEBRUARY 19, 1987 The Comanche Peak Report Review Group (CPRRG) met in the EWS Building, Bethesda, Maryland at 8:45 a.m. on February 19, 1987.

The meeting was attended by G. Arlotto, RES; C. J. Heltemes, AE00; R. Erickson, NMSS; R. Hoefling, 0GC; S. Collins, RI; T. Elsasser, RI; and C. Paperiello, PIII (participated by telephone).

Highlights Discussion with Task Group II (Handling and Process Task Group)

The CPRRG discussed " packaging" of Task Force findings in its report. Matters discussed relative to the draft report included:

(1) more specific linking of findings with relevant references; (2) presentation of " additional actions required"; (3) identification of " lessons learned"; (4) distillation of the report into an executive summary including a one-page summary covering process and disposition of each specific issue raised in OIA Report 86-10; (5) reference to NRC policy and procedures standards in iudging propriety of process; and (6) possibility of inconsistencies being perceived in reports of various task groups.

Future Meetings of the CPRRG The CPRRG agreed to devote full time on their report for two weeks beginning February 23, 1987. During that period, through March 6, 1987, the CPRRG will work in the Operations Center in the MNBB, Fethesda, Maryland.
