It would be helpful if the CPRRG could obtain information concerning RIV's organizational structure, particularly as it involves persons whose testimony is part of the record supporting OIA Report 85-10. What we need is a mapping of organization and personnel showing who reported to whom, etc., so we can better understand the organizational relationships of persons associated with Comanche Peak during the period cover 3d by OIA Report 86-10.
We would appreciate a prompt response if possible.

SELECTION OF RAMON E. HALL AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR, DIVISION OF REACTOR SAFETY AND PROJECTS, REGION IV i
l I am pleased to announce that Ramon E. Hall has been selected for the position of Deputy Director, Division of Reactor Safety and Projects, Region IV.
Mr. Hall came to the AEC/NRC in 1971 following thirteen years of employ-ment with General Electric and Douglas United Nuclear in the nuclear weapons materials production program at Richland, Washington, and three years with McDonnell-Douglas Astronautics in Huntington Beach, California.
Since joining the AEC/NRC, Mr. Hall has served as a Reactor Inspector j
in Region IV, a Program Specialist in IE-HQ, and as a Section Chief and i
Branch Chief in Region IV. Mr. Hall also served as an IAEA Technical l
Assistance Expert to the Philippine Atomic Energy Commission in 1981/82.
Mr. Hall received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University in 1955, and is a registered Professional Engineer-Nuclear in California.
Mr. Hall will serve in an acting capacity as Deputy Director, Division of Reactor Safety and Projects, Region IV until he receives final certification of his SES appointment from the Office of Personnel Management. Mr. Hall is located in Room 845 of the Region IV office, and can be reached on FTS 728-8182 or FTS 728-8183.

SUBJECT:
DIECTOR, DIVISION OF RESIDENT, REACTOR PROJECT AND DGINEERDO PB0 GRAMS, REGION IV Mr. Richard P. Denise has been appointed Director, Division of Resident, Reactor Project and Engineering Programs, Region IV, effective January 22, 1984.
Since October 1983, Mr. Denise has been Special Assistant for Nuclear Reactors to the Secretary of Energy.
Prior to that time, Mr. Denise had been the Deputy Manager of the Savannah River Operations Office with the Department of Energy (D0E).
Before joining the DOE in June 1980, Mr. Denise held the position of Assistant Director for Reactor Safety in NRC's Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
He has held positions as Assistant Director for Site Technology; Assistant Director for Special Projects; and Chief, Reactor Safety Branch, since joining the AEC's reactor development program in September 1966.
Mr. Denise received a degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1955.
