Dear Mr. Scalice:

This letter confirms the telephone conversation between T. Abney of your staff and R. Carrion of this office on June 28,1999, concerning a management meeting at your request which has been scheduled for July 26,1999, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant engineering status and performance. The location of the meeting will be at NRC Region ll Office, Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center,61 Forsyth St., SW, Atlanta, Georgia, in Suite 24T20. This meeting is an open meeting as per " Staff Meetings Open to the Public; Final Policy Statement" (September 20,1994; 59 FR 48340).
