September 24, 1996,- Mr. William T. Russell,' Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, acknowledged receipt of your Petition. On January 27 and.
. March 26,;1997, I wrote to you'on the status of your petition.
L On April 14, 1997, you submitted a revision to Mr. Joseph Callan, Executive
' Director for Operations.
I stated in my January 27, 1997, letter that we expected to' complete a Director's Decision by April 20, 1997. 'This target
.date is no longer appropriate due to the-additional time we need to address your revised submittal and other matters related to your Petition. The expected completion date is now June 30, 1997.
