Preparation of a report on our review of the ZPSS is in progress. The SNL letter report containing revised plant damage states was received and the impact on risk calculated. A CRAC model was obtained from P. Easley (AES/DSI/NRC) and used to determine a revised review report.

'S' r3trix for use in our Information was obtained from M. Berman (SNL) to assist in

. determining new conditional probabilities for H2 burn failure modes in the revised 'C' matrix.

1. PROGRESS TO DATE:

Preparation of a report on our review of the ZPSS continues. SNL are pre-paring Volume 1 to this review report and BNL is preparing Volmne 2. A letter was sent to SNL on June 7 enclosing revised risk curves that re-

- flected the new SNL plant state frequencies, BNL containment matrix, and NRC site model. On June 27 a summary for Volume 2 of the ZPSS' review re-port was sent to SNL. An updated Volume 2 summary was sent to SNL via

-word processors on July 1. -
