et0M99hd " Operating Reactor Water Chemistry and Corrosion" A3380 The enclosed NRC Form 173, Standard Order for DOE Work, is hereby submitted in accordance with Section III.B.2 of the DOE /NRC Memorandum of Understanding, dated February- 24, 1978.
Funding authorizations totalling $124,000 for FIN.A3710 were provided through FY.1983. The: purpose of this letter is to deobligate funds in the amount of
$'22,000 to another BNL FIN A3380 as described in the enclosure.
FY 1983 funds in the amount of $180,000 have been provided to .date for. I' FIN A3380. This letter authorizes a total of $34,000 in additional incremental-funds for completion of the assigned work. Due to the.
delay in providing the incremental func 3 for the completion of unanticipated work assignments, the period of performance of this

work order is extended to November-15,-1983 with no further funding to be provided. This letter also accepts the July 13,1983 BNL proposal.
