The enclosed am 173, Standard Order for DOE Work, is hereby submitted in accordance with Section III B.2 of the DOE /flRC Memorandum of Understanding, dated February 24, 1978.
Funding authorization in the amount of $50,000 to begin the subject project was transmitted in my letter of June 29, 1983. The purpose of this letter is to modify the BNL propesal dated August 30, 1983 and provide additional .
incremental funds in the amount of $40,000 for continuation of the work.
Due to the limited changes involved with this modification, a revised proposal need not be submitted; however, please submit a revised NRC Fom 189 without the attachments.
