REQUEST TO REPROGRAM FUNDS FROM ST TO OR AND CW Due to changes in the schedule of severe-accident activities within DSI, "

I want to reprogram $100,000 of FY83 funds as follows:

(1) $25,000 from B8625, LWR Severe Accident Consequence Mitigation (De-cision Unit 55),to6 Safety Evaluation of Core-Melt Accidents:

Casework- Reviews- for Limerick, GESSAR, - FNP-fDecision Unit 41). -~~-- - - ~~ ~~

(2) 565,000 from B8634, Severe Accident Core / Vessel / Containment Inter-actions (Decision Unit 55) to 6 Safety Evaluation of Core-Melt Accidents: Casework Reviews for Limerick GESSAR, FNP (Decision Unit 41). -

(3) $10,000 from B8634, Severe Accident Core / Vessel / Containment Inter-actions (Decision Unit 55), toMSafety Evaluation of Core-Melt Accidents: Operating Reactor Review for Indian Point and Zion (Decision Unit 11).

Funds are available from B8625 and B8634 due to the late FY83 award of these '

commercial contracts. Additional funding of A3711, and A3712 will accommodate the rapidly changing methodology in the severe accident area. By separate memo, DSI is also requesting additional FY83 funds to provide a margin of carryover for these two projects.
