This letter provides information in response to Section 2.5.2 of NRC Safety Evaluation Report, dated May 12,1995, conceming our post-modification inspection plan for Pilgrim core shroud repair assemblies.
Ooston Edison intends to develop the post-modification inspection plan for Pilgrim core shroud repair assemblies based upon the Guidelines for Reinspection of BWR Core Shrouds" (BWRVIP-07) EPRI TR-105747, dated February 1996. .The BWRVIP-07 Report is currently being reviewed by the NRC. We plan to submit our core shroud inspection plan along with our Refueling Outage (RFO) # 11 inservice inspection plan by October 31,1996, assuming by that date BWRVIP-07 guidelines will be approved by the NRC. The plan will also take into consideration recommendations provided in GE RICSIL-077 and SIL-572. Pilgrim RFO # 11 is currently planned for February 1997.
