TURKEY PT. OFAWABA AMENDMENT I am returning the package without concurrence.
Because comments and a. petition to intervene have been filed on a companion amendment (F H) 6 which~ includes issues which go to the substance of this amendment (and tiius could be construed as a late petition to intervene on this amendment), you must make.a final NSHC determination.
In addition, at minimum, you must r
address the comments and contentions that raise safety issues related to this amendment in the respective sections of the safety evaluation.
For example.
the discussion.of rod drop time needs to be revised to provide an enhanced basis to reject-the contention and comments on that subject.
There's no need to incorporate a comment section in this package.
It will be sufficient for this package to include thorough analyses that can be referenced in the comment section of the companion amendment.
