KEWAUNEE RADWASTE TANK LIMIT...
(OELD # 841 091)
The package is. alright but there' is an inconsistency between the cover letter and the Federal Register notice. The cover letter and the SER indicate that the radwaste tank limit is not covered by the present amendment but will be covered by a different review - the RETS review. However, the Federal Register notice indicates that we are revising the radwaste tank limit.
I presume that the Federal Register notice is incorrect; it should be modified and corrected.
I would suggest that the sentence on the radwaste limit presently in the Federal Register notice be deleted and as a new sentence, at the end of the discussion of what the amendment is, add a sentence indicating that another portion of the amendment request relating to the radwaste tankage will be reviewed as a separate matter.
Some some day when we change the radwaste tankage limit, would still be covered by the existing notice.
When you have the notice revised, please discuss the matter with Mr. Bordenick and he will advise you as to whether or not it needs to go through the ELD process again.
