20555 Subject Fire Protection - Completion of Electric Fine Pump Controller Installation Gentlemen Toledo Edison's (TE) October 11, 1989 letter (Serial Number 1718) committed to implement a modification to the electric fire pump conttoller.
As documented in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC)
May 30, 1991 letter which contained the Safety Evaluation of Fire Ptotection Heasures at the Davis-Besse Nucleat Power Station, Unit Number 1, per Appendix R to 10 CFR Part 50 (TE Log Number 3480) TE committed to complete installation of the new controller by the end of the seventh refueling outage. The new controller has been installed and either compiles with the applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code requirements or complies with the intent of these requirements.
