OPERATIONAL

SUMMARY

JUNE 1993 IMII__1 I Unit 1 began the month in "no mode" as Unit 1 Cycle 6 refueling outage continued. On June 18 at 1836 Eastern daylight time (EDT), Unit 1 entered Mode 6 as the fuel loading process began. On June 19 at approximately 1055 EDT, Fuel Assembly H64 at' location G7 tilted when it , was unlatched from the manipulator crane, and it came to rest against the , core baffle wall. There were no indications of fuel damage. On June 22 at 1006 EDT, the tilted fuel assembly was placed in an upright position. At the end of June, recovery activities associated with Fuel Assembly H64 remained on hold. The scheduled date for generator synchronization is September 16, 1993. UNIT.2 Unit 2 remained in Mode 5 during the entire month of June as a result of inspection / repairs on secondary side piping as a result of erosion / corrosion problems. SUMMARY

There were no challenges to PORVs or safety valves in June. '
