Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Air Receiver Pressure for Diesel Generator 11 not Maintained as Required by Technical Specifications LER 83-078/03 L-0 AECM-83/0428 On July 1, 1983, the Control Room operators were unable to maintain the air receiver pressure for Diesel Generator 11 greater than 160 psig as required by Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2.a.7. Diesel Generator 12 was inoperable at that time due to a maintenance tag out of the SSW "B" Subsystem.

Due to the inoperable status of the two diesel generators, Action (a) of Technical Specification 3.8.1.2 was entered. The event is reported pursuant i

to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b. Attached is LER 83-078/03 L-0 which is
