Dear Sir:

This letter is in response to Inspection & Enforcement Bulletin No. 80-16, " Potential Misapplication of Rosemount Inc. Models 1151 and 1152 Pressure Transmitters with Either "A" or "D" Output Codes".

A review of the Jamesport Nuclear Power Station design has indi-cated that no Rosemount Model 1151 and 1152 pressure transmitters have been purchased. Westinghouse has reviewed its scope of supply for the Nuclear Steam Supply System and has no plans to install the referenced transmitters in any safety related or non-safety related applications. When transmitters are required to be ordered for the plant, we will assure ourselves that these transmitters will not be ordered for safety related systems.

Should you require further information, please do not hesitate ,

to contact us. '

Very truly yours, W

R. E. Plaskon Assistant Project Manager Jamesport Nuclear Power Station l JPC/dm 1
