1, In response to Generic Letter 89-07, " Power Reactor Safeguards Contingency Planning for Surface Vehicle Bombs," PP&L has develo)ed and issued a procedure which includes safeguards contingency planning for s1 ort-term actions that we will take to protect against attempted radiological sabotage involving a land vehicle bomb in the event such a threat were to develop. The procedure was developed using the approach identified in the generic letter.
