  • NRC will address North Anna performance issues identified in the annual assessment letter
  • North Anna management will be given the opportunity to respond to the information in the letter and inform the NRC of new or existing programs to maintain or improve their performance

  • North Annas performance was within the Licensee Response Column of the Action Matrix for all four quarters.
  • All Reactor Oversight Process inspection findings were classified as very low safety significance (Green).
  • All performance indicators were Green.

North Anna Power Station Assessment Summary

  • Virginia Electric and Power Company operated the North Anna Power Station in a manner that preserved public health and safety.
  • All cornerstone objectives were met.
  • NRC plans baseline inspections at North Anna for the remainder of CY 2007.
