Dear Ms. Katz:

I called you 3 times but did not get connected to you. I hope this e-mail can reach you.

I am the assigned Petition Manager at NRC for the subject petition. The purpose of my calls, and this e-mail, is to introduce myself, and to discuss with you a few questions regarding the petition. Please call me at you earliest convenience.

(1) There are dozens of petitioners associated with this petition. Can you name a few individuals who would be my contacts?

(2) The petition did not mention 10 CFR 2.206. We assume that it is per 10 CFR 2.206.

Please confirm.

(3) We notice that the submittal is publicly available thru the CAN website http:\\www.nukebusters.org We assume that we can also immediately put the submittal, unredacted, in the public domain thru our document control system ADAMS. Please confirm.

(4) Would you, or other petitioners, like to address the NRC Petition Review Board in a meeting or a teleconference?

(5) We note that CANs press release characterizes the submittal as requesting "immediate" NRC action, but such wording is absent in the submittal itself. Please clarify.

(6) NRC petition procedures call for us putting petitioners on the mailing lists of all the affected plants. In this case, 30 plants (i.e., 30 mailing lists) are affected by the petition. Is it your wish to be on all these mailing lists and receive all issuances on these plants?
