The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Research Reactor (MITR)
is in receipt of the above inspection report, dated December 30, 1987, and this letter is in response to Appendix A (of Docket 50-20) in accordance with 10 CFR 2.201.
The MITR acknowledges the Appendix A, Notice of Violation (Docket No. 50-20) and has taken immediate corrective actions to comply with 10 CFR 20.203(d). This item was identified during the inspection (50-20/87-03) conducted on December 2 - 4, 1987 and was corrected on December 7 (!!onday), 1987 by providing the appropriate posting pur-suant to 10 CFR 20.203(d), thereby bringing us into full compliance with the regulation. In addition, all Operations personnel were made aware of this item by the Reactor Radiation Protection Office during an operations meeting on December 3, 1987.
This letter has addressed the Appendix A, Notice of Violation, concerns. .However, if there are any questions regarding this letter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
