This letter is being sent to update you on the status of the Research and Test Reactor Seminar planned by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),

Region I. The seminar was initially proposed in our January 10, 1989, letter to you.

Based on the responses received in reply to our letter, we have scheduled the-seminar for April 18 and 19,1989. The seminar will be held at the Radisson Hotel, North Gulph Road and First Avenue, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. A seminar agenda is enclosed. The presentations will be made by NRC Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) and Region I personnel. When the list of speakers is finalized, we will provide you with at: updated agenca.

4 To assist you in making lodging reservations, a block of rooms has been reserved single room. at the Radisson Hotel, at tne rate of $63.00 + tax per night for a Reservations should be made directly with the Radisson (215) 337-2000 by your staff as soon as possible. When making reservations, mention that you will be attending the NRC-Research and Test Reactor Saminar.

Transportation to the Radisson Hotel from the Philadelphia Airport can be accomplished by taking the Liberty Limousine directly to the Radisson Hotel. A map of the local area is also enclosed for your convenience.

FROM PHILADELPHIA: Take Schuylkill to Exit #25 (Goddard Blvd.). Bear right at first light onto Goddard Blvd. Turn right at next light onto North Gulph Road and proceed to First Ave.

FROM PENNSYLVANIA TURNPlKE: Take Turnpike Exit #24 (Valley Forge).

Immediately take first exit after toll (Exit 25. Valley Forge) to First Ave.

FROM ROUTE 202: Take Pottstown Exit (422 West) to first exit (Bridgeport Route 23 East). Turn right at first light (Moore Rd.). Turn right at next light (First Ave.) to Hotel and Convention Center.

FROM ROUTE 422 EAST: Take King of Prussia industrial Park Exit to Hotel and Convention Center.

BY AIR: /ill major airlines fly into Philadelphia International Airport. Liberty Cab

& Limousine, (215) 365-8414, provides limousine service every hour on the hour for the 45 minute ride to Valley Forse Plaza and Valley Forge Convention Center. Cost: 11.50 per person, one way. (Rates subject to change.) Register at the Liberty booth in the terminal.

BY BUS: SEPTA, (215) 574 7800, Route #45 bus departs daily from Center City Philadelphia at both 16th and JFK Blvd. and at the 29th Street side of 30th Street Station. The bus stops at the King of Prussia Shopping Plaza and at the Hotel and Convention Center.

BY TRAIN: AMTRAK, (215) 8241600, provides frequent and regular service from major metropolitan areas throughout the courey to Philadelphia. The train arrives at 30th Street Station. SEPTA bus (p45) leaves the station every half hour on weekaays. See above.
