Attachment A The following items represent the commitments that the Public Service Electric and Gas Company is making to the Nuclear <

Regulatory Commission relative to LER 354/97-015-00: l

1. The completion dates for the surveillance work orders to 1 perform the analysis of the composite liquid and gaseous I release sampling in accordance with Technical Specification I Tables 4.11.1.1.1-1 and 4.11.2.1.2-1 will be revised prior to performance of the next surveillance to ensure that the analyses are completed within the required surveillance l

interval.

2. Additional training will be provided to Chemistry I Supervisors on the importance of ensuring that sampling and analysis activities associated with Technical Specification  ;

surveillances are completed within the proper surveillance '

test interval. This training will be completed by August 15, 1997.
