Dear Mr. Klinger:
This responds to your letter of December 15, 1986, concerning coverage under I 5 U.S.C. 8336 (c) (1) for the position of Assistant to the Director, GG-1811-15, Office of Inspector and Auditor.
The additional information that you requested is furnished in the order of the questions contained in your letter.
(1) Fifty percent of the incumbent's time is spent managing or administrating criminal investigations.
(2) Title 18 U.S.C. is the code being violated by indkiduals 'and firms being investigated and includes investigations of Fraud Against the Government, Conspiracy, Theft of Government Property, Conflicts of Interest and Bribery.
(3) Experience as a law enforcement officer is a basic qualification for this position.
