Dear Mr. Klinger:

Enclosed is a letter from the Office of Personnel Management granting general coverage under 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) for certain positions 1ocated in the former NRC Office of Inspection and Enforcement (IE). Among other positions, the .

letter lists GG-12 and 13 Investigator positions in the IE Regions I, II and  !

IV offices as being covered. However, the same positions located in the IE Regions III and V offices are not listed. Because of the identical functions of these positions, please confirm that coverage can be extended to the GG-12 and 13 Investigator positions in Regions III and V as well.

Enclosed are the position descriptions for the GG-12 and 13 Investigators in Regions I, II, III, IV and V. Please review these documents and advise me as i to the creditability of the GG-12 and 13 Investigator positions in Regions III and V.
