Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 Permit Changes Gentlemen:

This letter provides our commitment to the recommendation specified in the NRC safety evaluation issued with Amendment 93 to the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. 1 technical specifications. Amendment 93 eliminated Appendix B of the technical specifications, however, the NRC safety evaluation stated that the licensee should make a commitment to continue to do what is stated in Appendix B Section 5.6.3.A. The commitment requires that when a change is submitted to the concerned agency for approval, a copy will be submitted for information purposes to the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and a copy will also be provided to the Regional Directcr of the Office of Inspection and Enforcement.

Very truly yours, J. D. Sieber Vice President, Nuclear M
