Dear Mr. Maas:

I This letter is in response to your correspondence dated July 14,1999, by which your i

staff sent a revised page change to Table 1-1.1, Authorized Activities. Siemens inadvertently deleted the Modular Extraction Recovery Facility from the authorized activity table during a page  ;

change dated May 11,1999, for Amendment 16. The NRC authorized the operation of the Modular Extraction Recovery Facility in Amendment 10 on March 17,1998. Since the NRC had previously authorized this activity, the change to the license application is administrative and no further action is required.
