REVISIONS OF FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN (TAC NO. L31053)
Dear Mr. Maas:
This refers to your submittal dated February 5,1998, as modified by your subsequent letter and j
enclosure dated July 14,1998, in which you resubmitted a revised Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC) Plan, dated June 1998. Both Plan revisions were properly submitted pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 70.34. We have completed our review of the revised Plan and have found it to be acceptable. Accordingly, pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM-1227 is hereby amended to incorporate your revised FNMC Plan. Thus, Safeguards License Condition SG-1.1 has been revised to include the Plan Revision 31 dated June 1998, and to read as follows:
SG-1.1 The licensee shall follow Sections 0.0 through 8.0 (with all pages designated as Revision 31 and dated June 1998) of its Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan, titled " Nuclear Materials Safeguards Procedures Description for the Fuels Fabrication Plants, EMF-12(P)." Revisions to this Plan shall be made in accordance with, and pursuant to, the provisions of either 10 CFR 70.32(c) or
(
70.34.
All other conditions to this license shall remain the same.
Enclosed are copies of the revised Materials License SNM-1227 and the Safeguards Evaluation Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion.
