SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES At the beginning of the month, the unit was at 100% power.

On 5 January, the reactor automatically tripped on loss of load.

t On 6 January, the unit was phased to the grid.

The unit reached 100% power on 7 January.

On 19 January, power was reduced temporarily to 99.5% during the recovery of a dropped CEA.

On 27 January, power was reduced to approximately 99% to allow the

. implementation of a new calorimetric algorithm in the plant 3 computer.

, Power was returned to 100% on 28 January.

The unit was at 100% power at the end of the month.
