SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES.

  • At.the beginning of the month, the-unit was at 100% power.

On.14 February, it was determined that some of the containment electrical penetrations may not be properly environmentally qualified.

The plant was shut down to repair the electrical penetrations.

On 21 February, The. reactor was made critical and the main unit was phased to the grid. 'During the' power escalation,-a failure of a main. ,

feed water regulating valve stem was discovered and a power decrease {

was commenced. j On 22 February, the main unit was removed from the grid. The reactor l was shut down and then returned to power later in the day.

On 23-February, The main unit was returned to the grid and power was raised to 100%.

The unit was operated at 100% power for the remainder of the month.
