EXCEPTION:
l Subsection 6.1 Maine Yankee takes exception to the requirement that for photon and neutron monitoring instrument calibrations, the source-to-detector distance shall be seven times the maximum dimension of the source or detector, whichever is larger, or suitable corrections shall be used.
ALTERNATIVE:
Maine Yankee will comply with the monitoring equipment manufacturer's technical manual recommendations for calibration using a pulse generator.
