Pilgrim ISFSI Physical Security Plan License Amendment Application Date: Friday, April 17, 2020 12:18:00 PM Hi Andrea, On Thursday, April 2, 2020, HDI submitted its license amendment application for the Pilgrim Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) Physical Security Plan (PSP) for NRC review. The submittal contains safeguards (SGI) information and therefore is docketed and located in the NRCs repository for SGI records system (SLES system).

The NRC staff is currently conducting an acceptance review of this submittal.

In order for the staff to complete its acceptance review, we request the following clarifying information below as soon as possible:

The following items in the Pilgrim ISFSI II PSP license amendment submittal are unable to be viewed by staff due to the them being blurred after being processed (reproduced/scanned) in the NRCs SLES:

1. Figures 1.2 (ISFSI overview)
2. Figure C2 of C6 (VBS blast analysis)

Your submittal referenced some documents in the submittal, but the staff requests to see the complete documents:

1. The site response and recovery plan which includes the local law enforcement agency (LLEA) memorandum of understanding (MOU)
2. a compliance matrix regarding each line item of the ISFSI Additional Security Measures (ASM) order that references each order requirement and the section of the Pilgrim II ISFSI PSP where the order requirement is locate
3. the Pilgrim site procedure for cask transfer from the current PA to the future ISFSI PA If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you.
