By letter dated November 10, 2015 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML15328A053), pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Section 50.82(a)(1)(i),
Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) certified to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that it decided to permanently cease power operations at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (Pilgrim) no later than June 1, 2019.
Entergy shutdown Pilgrim on May 31, 2019, at 5:28 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
The NRC staff acknowledges that Pilgrim permanently ceased power operations in accordance with 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1)(i) on May 31, 2019, at 5:28 pm EDT.
